Arts Marketing Association programmes open for applications

The Arts Marketing Association (AMA) has announced that it is currently taking applications for two exciting programmes. Both programmes – Future Proof Museums and the Digital Marketing Academy – are funded by Arts Council England and have already had great impact through previous cohorts of participants.

Future Proof Museums

Future Proof Museums is an intensive development programme proven to facilitate transformational change and significantly improve the resilience of museums.

After two successful cohorts, the AMA are now looking for 20 more museums to take part in this three-stage programme which includes in-house diagnostic sessions with your team, a three-day residential and on-going mentoring and facilitation.

The first two cohorts have proven successful in sparking passion for change and giving confidence to CEOs in their ability to lead change. The ten-month intensive programme results in more resilient organisations able to change, adapt, influence and remain relevant to an ever-changing external environment.

We are looking for a diverse group of participants to apply to take part in Future Proof Museums; small, mid or large scale museums, from a broad range of regions in England, and a variety of type of museum – from natural history to art, from science to social history, from independent to university-run.

Digital Marketing Academy

The AMA are looking for enthusiastic drivers of change to join Digital Marketing Academy 4.0. Have you got an exciting digital idea to help develop your audience that you need advice on? Do you wish you had the support of an expert to help with a digital marketing experiment?

If you’re a marketer with an interest in digital innovation to increase and engage audiences, have got a digital idea that you want to share, or relish the idea of working with your peers and specialists to develop your digital marketing, you could benefit from joining the Digital Marketing Academy.

The programme offers you the support of an international expert Mentor with one-
to-one sessions, access to tailored online training to develop your skills, and the opportunity to take part in Action Learning Sets to learn from your peers.

Fellows of the Academy are mentored by a leading digital specialist, whilst developing experiments within their own organisation with real audiences to trial and adopt good practice and achieve new ambitions and perspectives in their digital marketing. The whole programme takes place online.
