Read the National Lottery Heritage Fund statement on Covid-19

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has released a statement on its support for the heritage sector, following recent government announcements relating to COVID-19:

"We remain committed to supporting the people and organisations working across the heritage sector and are open for business.

The COVID-19 virus is a worrying time for all of us and having a significant impact on the people and organisations we work with. We want to reassure everyone we fund that we will be as flexible and supportive as we can be during this very challenging time.

If you are concerned about the impact of the coronavirus on your heritage project or organisation, please get in touch with your Investment Manager/Senior Investment Manager or speak to the team in your local Area or Country office. This will help us get a fuller understanding of the extent of the challenges and what support may be needed.

We’ll be reviewing our funding approaches as we build up a clear picture of the potential impact on those we support. We will be working with other national heritage stakeholders, funders and the Government to see what support we might be able offer together.

We are all committed to supporting the heritage sector through this difficult period, so please keep a look out for further advice and support which we will share through our website and social media channels.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your Investment Manager/Senior Investment Manager in the first instance, or if you have a general enquiry, contact our Customer Service team (enquire@heritagefund.org.uk)."

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has also launched a survey to help gather information about the immediate and longer-term impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on those the NLHF works with and support across the heritage sector. You can take part in the survey by clicking here: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/TheNationalLottery...

NLHF is fully operational and open for business and will continue to provide support you whether you’re a grant recipient or currently liaising with the NLHF team about developing your project or grant application (staff will be working remotely).
