VocalEyes releases guidance on making museums accessible for blind and partially sighted visitors

VocalEyes have released new guidance on how to make museums accessible for blind and partially sighted visitors. The guidance includes ten steps to create your own descriptive directions and information, and useful advice on what to think about when it comes to accessibility in the museum.

The resource explains: "While many people visit an arts venue with a friend or family, it is important to give people access to the information they need so that they can travel to and navigate around the space independently. Accessibility should always be a must for every institution, so we created some guidelines to help your organisation produce their own."
