Outreach Volunteer - Aerospace Bristol

Outreach volunteers will support the implementation and delivering of projects to diverse audiences in South Gloucestershire and Bristol.

The Outreach team run a varied program of events to bring the museums experience to the wider community and we are looking to build a team of volunteers to work on different events throughout the year. Whether you are passionate about STEM, great at working with children, committed to care for the elderly or are looking to build experience and gain skills for career development, the Outreach team want to hear from you. Examples of outreach activities include creating a micro museum at public events, engaging with dementia patients in care homes and helping children to discover gravity through play. Tasks will include:
• Interacting with the public and encouraging them to take part in activities
• Leading and facilitating sessions with a wide range of different audiences
• Delivering activities with families, children and young people
• Supporting older people with object handling and other activities
• Representing Aerospace Bristol at local, national and international events and supporting with marketing, learning activities and exhibitions outside the museum
