A key team member to engage with the local community by recruiting volunteers and organising events and activities at the new Roman Baths Clore Learning Centre and World Heritage Centre in Bath.We are seeking a key member of the Learning & Participation team to lead community engagement and volunteer recruitment for a National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project.
You will engage with the local community by recruiting volunteers and organising events and activities at the new Roman Baths Clore Learning Centre and World Heritage Centre in Bath.
The successful candidate will consult with the Project's partners, potential users and current non-users to develop programming responsive to their needs.
You will work in partnership with local organisations to recruit, co-ordinate, train and supervise a new team of volunteers in the World Heritage Centre who will meet, greet and engage visitors.
You will create a volunteer handbook in partnership with team members.
You will lead in the delivery of community engagement programmes and support and provide training to other staff and volunteers working on the project.
This is a full time (37 hours per week) fixed term position until 31/12/2021.
