July Mingle
This informal gathering will meet at The Cosy Club on Corn Street in central Bristol on the third Monday of the month. You are welcome to stay for as long or as little as you wish - you may even decide to do some co-working afterwards. Whether you are full or part-time employed, a freelancer, a volunteer, or a student, pop in for a cup of tea and a chat to find out what’s going on across the city and chat with some like-minds. It is hoped that the Bristol Heritage and Cultural Mingle will enable professionals and other contributors to share ideas and build a lively, integrated community. WHAT IS A MINGLE? A Mingle is an informal get together of diverse minds over a cuppa. It’s an open platform to be social, mix, form connections, share ideas, and support others. It can be a chance to meet new people, the sounding board for your next project, an inspiration for your current work, the seed of a collaboration, an opportunity to get out of the office or house, or simply a way to get to know what’s happening in your area. There are no agendas, themes, name badges or business cards. It is not quite a networking event, but more a community get together. As an equal participant, you can make it what you want it to be. It’s aimed at the heritage and cultural sector, but you don’t need to be working in the sector - you may just be interested in adding to it in some way (now or in the future). Simply turn up, enjoy the atmosphere, and have some chats. WHO CAN ATTEND? Anyone really (in the widest sense!) DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVEN’T BEEN BEFORE? Not at all – you’re welcome to dip in and out of the Mingles as and when your schedule allows.
