Join the South West Fed Board

Being a trustee or county rep of the South West Fed is a fantastic professional development opportunity. You will help shape the future of the organisation, share your knowledge and expertise, and build on your own experience.

There are a variety of interesting roles, and you can be considered at any stage of your career if you are a member. We have a very supportive culture and will help guide anyone with limited board experience. If you want to develop a certain skill, we will help with that. We know that your time and effort is valuable, so we want to provide you with a rewarding and fun experience.

You will need to be committed to giving your time and input to the organisation at an appropriate level - those who get the most out of being on the South West Fed board are those that put more in.

Sub-committee volunteering and shadowing

From time to time, we have exciting opportunities for you to volunteer on one of our sub-committees or to shadow a board member. These are great if you want to get involved but aren't sure if you want to join the board just yet, or if there aren't any vacancies on the board. Your help will support our members and the wider heritage sector in the South West - it will also help drive our future plans.
