This year’s programme has ‘Sustainability’ as its overarching theme and is categorised into three main strands:

Sustainable Collections includes essential practical courses to help you care for and manage your collections

Sustainable Organisation links to Accreditation with Forward Planning at its core

Sustainable Communities has a people focus and includes specific courses relating to participation and engagement

The courses are FREE to everyone who works in museums, galleries and National Trust properties across the South West region and run over a full day. In the majority of cases, they will include all equipment, materials, course notes and refreshments.  Lunch will not be provided, so please be prepared to bring your own sandwiches or to take advantage of the course venue facilities, so that you can enjoy valuable networking time with other delegates while you eat.

Booking and Cancellations

Early Booking is advised as most courses have limited places.  Please book via the appropriate booking form. You will receive a booking confirmation by email, with further details emailed nearer the course start date.

Please also let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, as your place could be filled by another delegate on the waiting list.  If there are any unfilled spaces available at the last minute, these will be advertised via Twitter, so do follow us @SWFed
