Training and Skills Development for Staff and Volunteers - a cornerstone of the SW Fed

training - disaster salvage 02

The provision of wide ranging, high quality, cost effective training and professional development opportunities for museum staff and volunteers in the region remains central to our role.

Following 25 very successful courses in 2011 - 2012, the SW Fed is delighted to be able to offer a re-run of three of our most popular workshops, which were oversubscribed first time round.

  • Introduction to caring for costume - Thursday 9th February, Bristol Theatre Collection

Further details - Booking form

  • Tools for schools - Friday 24th February, Community Heritage Access Centre, Yeovil

  • Volunteer management and recruitment - Thursday 1st March, Plymouth Arts Centre

Grateful thanks go to all museums who are providing their venues free of charge or at cost this year.
