Bristol CIty Museum & Archive Service and a consortium between the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery have been succesful in their bids for a 3 year funding settlement from Arts Council England.  The fund was created to replace the previous Renaissance hub structure when ACE took over museum development functions from the MLA.  14 other museums/consortia in the other English regions will have a share of the £20M a year fund.  The final detail of the museums' plans and funding agreements will be the result of a negotiation with the Arts Council and will be in place and published by April. Go to www.artscouncil.org.uk for full details.
