For the very first time, you can now access National Trust collections online!

The new ‘National Trust Collections’ website represents a significant milestone for the National Trust and a great collective achievement for all of the staff and volunteers who have been involved with collections management over the past decade.

Find out more about your favourite painting or piece of furniture from across the 231,438 records made for collections across the South West! Alternatively you can search across the entire National Trust collection for a specific artist, designer or category of collection, such as maps or textiles.

You can also search for your favourite property to see the whole collection (i.e. Tyntesfield, which has over forty six thousand records alone!), or choose to see the incredible ‘highlights’ that have been thoughtfully selected to showcase some of most significant items in each collection.

Records will be enhanced on an ongoing basis, so do check the website regularly.
