Communication is the life-blood of the Federation.
The Federation membership meets at least twice a year for a 'Spring' and 'Autumn' meeting. Our AGM is held as part of the 'Spring' meeting. There may also be other meetings during the year of a topical nature.
County Museum Groups also hold meetings regularly during the year and details of these can be found by either looking on the county pages or contacting the Federation County Rep.
Committee meetings are held roughly every 3-4 months, normally in Exeter. All papers for the meetings are posted here.
The Next Committee Meeting
The next committee meeting will be held on the 6th November 2008 - venue to be confirmed - from 10.00am to 12.30pm - Reports will become available here when released.
The Next General Meeting
The next General Meeting of the Federation will be the 2008 Autumn Meeting. This will be held on the 10th of November at Geevor Museum.

Details of the Extraordinary General Meeting in January 2008 to discuss and launch the 'Manifesto for Museums in the South West' was held on the 24th of January, 11.00-13.00hrs at the British Empire & Commonwealth Museum in Bristol.
