Launching the Manifesto at the EGM
The Federation held an Extraordinary General Meeting to launch the 'Manifesto for Museums in the South West' at the British Empire & Commonwealth Museum in Bristol on the 24th January 2008 at 11.00am to 1.00pm.
The meeting was a great sucsess and attended by over 40 members of the Federation; Two motions were put before the meeting:
- Is the Manifesto a fair representation of the views expressed during the consultation process?
- Are Members willing to ratify the Manifesto and give the Federation Committee a mandate to drive it forwards?
