Going to Swindon

The Federation's AGM will take place on Thursday the 28th of June 2007 at the Science Museum, Swindon

This is a brilliant opportunity to have a private look around the Science Museum Swindon quite a while before it opens to the public in 2010. We will also be hearing from their Director Sally Petipher, who will talk about the whole 'Inspired' project.

There will also be a panel discussion on the new SW Museum Strategy, being led by the South West Federation. (The panel will be announced as soon as it has been confirmed.

This will be the first AGM since the Federation became a Registered Charity and Limited Company. It may mean slightly more paperwork than normal as we need to vote in a new committee and make a couple of slight changes to the 'Articles of Association' but it should still only be a few mins in the day.

Remember This meeting is open to all Museum staff in the South West - to it is a great opportunity - Don't miss it!
